Brief information about the Department

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated August 28, 2002, the Ministry of Economy and Budget Planning of the Republic of Kazakhstan was created in the structure of local executive bodies in the form of the State Institution "Department of Economics of the Mugalzhar District".

The mission of the State Institution "Department of Economics and Budget Planning of the Mugalzhar District" (hereinafter referred to as the Department) is to create and develop a local planning system that contributes to the effective implementation of the priorities of the socio-economic development of the region.

The main functions of the department:

1) carries out intersectoral and interregional coordination of the development ofthe main directions of the socio-economic policy of the region;

2) improvement of the system of strategic medium-term economic budget planning, which regulates the implementation of economic activities in the region;

3) methodological guidance of the local budget process, control over their implementation;

4) development of a mid-term plan for the socio-economic development of the region.

5) development of a draft medium-term fiscal policy of the district budget

6) development of relevant decisions and resolutions on the local budget for the relevant financial year, amendments and additions to the budget;

7) preparation of summary information on the execution of budget investments made at the expense of the republican and local budgets, and submitting it to the relevant higher authorities.
