Every citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan has the right to change the name, surname and patronymic. The reasons can be any: some change their last name due to marital status, others - at their own request.⠀

The e-government portal will help you save time when changing your full name, including making changes to civil status records. eGov.kz . You can also get this service from the departments of the RAGS and local akimats. ⠀

Required documents: ⠀
• application of the established sample; ⠀
* identity card; ⠀
* two photos 3*4 cm; ⠀
If necessary, the staff of the RAGS may require additional documents.⠀ You
will also need to pay a state fee in the amount of: ⠀
• for the registration of the change of full name - 2 MCI, ⠀
• for the certificate in connection with the change, addition, correction and restoration of the record of the act on the change of full name - 0.5 MCI.⠀

Certain categories of citizens who have benefits are exempt from paying state duty.⠀
⠀
The term of rendering public services is 5 working days.
