How to issue a passport to citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who are abroad
If you study, work or live abroad, and you need to get/change a passport of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, you do not need to return home to Kazakhstan. You can simply contact the Embassy or Consulate of the Republic of Kazakhstan and provide the following documents•
* application;
• a citizen's identity document:
- when exchanging a passport - a passport of a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- for children under the age of 16 - a birth certificate, an identity document of one of the parents and a notarized consent of the second;
* * four 3.5x4.5 color photos (according to the requirements);
* a document confirming the fact of permanent residence, study, work abroad, marital status, health (original and copy);
* receipt of the consular fee.
The service became available thanks to the joint work of the Ministry of Digitalization, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The service delivery period is 80 calendar days.
