Agricultural development results for 2020
The volume of gross agricultural output for 2020 amounted to 29210 million tenge, or 109 % compared to last year.
Also, in comparison with the same period last year, in all categories of farms, the production of meat increased by 104.1%, milk by 101.3 %.
Crop production: The sown area in the reporting year was 166.6 thousand hectares. Including:
- Cereals - 116.5 thousand ha
- Oilseeds – 6.2 thousand ha
- Forage crops – 23.5 thousand haga
The gross grain harvest amounted to 147.3 thousand tons, with an average yield of 12.6 c / ha. In particular, winter crops were harvested from an area of 2798 hectares – the yield is 14.2 tsn/ha.Compared to last year, the average yield increased by 28.6 percent.
From an area of 1,010 ha (including the population), 29,369 tons of potatoes were obtained, the average yield was 290.7 c / g, vegetables from 500 ha were collected 13,978 tons, the yield was 279.6 c / ha.
Purposeful work continues with the agricultural producers of the district to update the machine and tractor fleet. So, during the reporting year, 44 units of new equipment were purchased for a total amount of 1 billion 380 million tenge.Among them, 18 tractors, 9 units of forage harvesting equipment, 4 seeding complexes, 3 frigates, etc. were purchased.
30 units of old equipment were written off – 24 tractors and 6 combines.
Seed filling-The demand for grain seeds in the district is 11.3 thousand tons. In fact, 12.1 thousand tons or 107% were filled in. The preliminary analysis was carried out by 14143 tons, of which 1 class-11713 tons, 2 classes-2070 tons, 3 classes-360 tons.
Animal husbandry: For the wintering of livestock in the district with the plan of 87.7 thousand tons, 89 thousand tons of feed or 101.5% were prepared.
The total number of cattle was 28,822 heads, which is 18.6% more than last year, and 25,475 sheep and goats. or an increase of 7.2 %, horses 4,687 head. an increase of 8.5%.
In the reporting year, the following indicative indicators were brought to the district for implementation:
1. The purchase of cattle was 600 heads, 798 heads were actually purchased. or the task is completed by 133 %. In particular, 300 heads of breeding stock of foreign selection were purchased.
2. Purchase of MRS task 400 heads-698 heads or 174% were actually purchased.
3. The program of breed transformation of cattle involved 2775 heads of breeding stock and 111 heads of breeding bulls;

Irrigated agriculture
In 2019, RSE "Kazvodkhoz" as part of the implementation of the program for the development of irrigated agriculture in the Zheltau rural district, carried out work on the reconstruction of the current system. The external infrastructure is connected to 23 land plots with a total area of 3,457.9 hectares belonging to 18 farms.And if 13 farms purposefully use these lands for more than a year, then 5 farms plan to develop about 800 hectares this year after the acquisition of irrigation systems. Relevant work will continue on this issue.
This year, the construction of an appropriate infrastructure will begin for the introduction of an additional 2,700 hectares of irrigated land in the Zheltau and Steppe rural districts. 4 more economic entities will be engaged in irrigated agriculture.
Investment projects
During the reporting year, 16 investment projects totaling 740 million tenge were implemented in the area of agriculture of the district. Among them are the construction of a greenhouse on an area of 1 ha, the purchase of imported equipment, the purchase of breeding cattle, the creation of livestock farms, the development of irrigated agriculture, etc.
During the reporting year, 38 agricultural producers of the district received subsidies in the total amount of 182.5 million tenge. Including for the development of animal husbandry, 30 farms for the sum of 137 million tenge, of which 80 million for the preparation of feed.
In the field of crop production, subsidies were paid for the purchase of seeds, mineral fertilizers and herbicides to 8 farms for a total amount of 45.5 million tenge.
Non-traditional branches of agriculture are developing at a good pace in the region:
The population in their personal farmstead contains more than 2 thousand goats, of which the third part is the dairy livestock. Mostly goats are kept in the personal farmsteads of citizens who are engaged in the production and processing of goat's milk, the products are sold mainly by order.
Officially, 3 farms are engaged in beekeeping today – the peasant farm "Medovik" in the Zheltau district and two individual entrepreneurs in the villages of Badamsha and Aschylysay. This year, about 8 tons of honey were collected.
Fish farming In the period 2016-2020, 6 reservoirs were transferred to the district for the management of fisheries for a period of 10 years. These are the Kargalinsky reservoir, Chugaevsky, Buranovsky, Buranovsky-2, Chapaevsky, Alimbetovsky and Aschelisaysky reservoirs.
According to the Stocking Plan, all reservoirs are annually stocked with the necessary number of fry. These activities are carried out in accordance with the concluded agreement.
In the current year, the stocking was made by carp fingerlings in a total of more than 17,000 units.
Within the framework of price stabilization and providing the population of the district with products of their own production, agricultural fairs were regularly held.
In total, 15 fairs were organized and held, where meat and meat semi-finished products, fish, honey, dairy products, eggs, potatoes, vegetables, feed and other products were sold for a total amount of about 13 million tenge.
