The Khromtau hospital with 25 beds was dissolved in a one-story building until 1957, which included a surgical, maternity, and therapeutic department. The staff consisted of three doctors.
In 1957, the main building of the hospital town with 75 beds was put into operation. This is a two-storey building of a typical project with the necessary foundation and equipment. In 1958, the infectious diseases department was opened, and the hospital began to pay for 125 beds. The chief physician worked Holodilov George Demyanovich. In 1957, V. Ya. In 1986, a whole hospital complex with a modern foundation was built in Khromtau, which was headed by Shamrov Vladimir Ivanovich.
Since 1995 1997 at the regional hospital was in charge of Ushanov Kuanysh Abaevich.
From 1997 to 2012, the head of the Khromtau CRH was appointed Kozbagarov Kalikhan Esbosynovich.
Since December 2012, the district hospital has been managed by Koptileuovzheksenbiakkabievich.
Since December 2014, Isaev Rustem Kanapievich has been appointed Chief Physician.
According to the decree of the akimat of Aktobe region No. 415 dated 29.12.2010 GCE "Khromtau Central district hospital" was reorganized into the GKP "Khromtau TSRB" PHV "Department of health of Aktobe region" Order for the state of reorganization of the legal entity has received 21 January 2011, №5.
Currently, the hospital serves the population of the Khromtau district of 42,355 people, including adults-28,970, children aged 0 to 14 years-11,444, teenagers-1941.Medical aid to the population of Khromtau district has a district clinic 262 visits per shift and day-care facility with 30 beds , a hospital with 68 beds, 5 outpatient clinics and day-care hospitals only 30 beds, 1 midwifery centers, and 17 health posts in rural areas.
The hospital currently has the following departments: - therapeutic department with 17 beds,
- surgical department with 12 beds,
- children's department with 17 beds, - children's department with 18 beds.
In addition, there are 3 children's infectious beds and 1 adult infectious bed.
There are auxiliary rooms: X-ray fluorography, physiotherapy, clinical and diagnostic laboratory, functional diagnostics rooms.The hospital conducts laboratory X-ray examinations, electrocardiography, ultrasound examination of the abdominal organs, electroencephalography, rheovasography, spirometry, fibrogastroduodenoscopy.
The management of the clinic invests in strengthening the material base, which is represented by a mobile fluoromobile "KRF-111", an Ulf laser, endoscopic and laparoscopic devices, a ventilator for new patients – 5000 and "Kpap", ultrasound diagnostic devices, electrocardiograph, electrocardiofax, X-ray complex "Ardiagnost-8", mammograph, modern biochemical, bacteriological, clinical laboratories, reanimobile company"Hyundai".For the new ones, we purchased the sle-5000 phototherapy and artificial lung ventilation device, the ste-therm resuscitation table, the Olympus SV – B1 video endoscope and Karl Storz.
During the existence of the hospital in Khromtau, the number of doctors increased from 3 to 48, middle-level medical workers from 5 to 165, the hospital employs 4 doctors of the highest category, 4 doctors of the first category, one doctor-Candidate of medical Sciences.The collective employs 4 doctors - "Excellent health worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan", winner of regional competitions "Best nurse". To improve the quality of service, medical personnel are trained in republican universities.Khromtau CRH participates in the Project of MH of RK "today's best, tomorrow-all". On the basis of the Khromtau CRH, as a school of excellence, cascade training of doctors and secondary medical workers of the region is conducted.
