The Department carries out state architectural and construction control and supervision of:
- implementation of state architectural and construction control over the quality of construction of objects;monitoring of objects under construction (reconstructed, expanded, modernized, overhauled) and put into operation;
- adoption of measures established by law in relation to legal entities and officials who have committed non-remedial violations or who have not eliminated the violations within the established regulatory deadlines;
- consideration of cases of administrative offenses and imposition of administrative penalties for violations of regulatory legal acts and state regulations in the field of architectural and construction activities;
- implementation of control over the activities of technical and author supervision;
- control over the organization and implementation by the customer (owner) of technical and author's supervision during the construction of objects;
- receiving notifications about the start of construction and installation works;
- consideration of requests from individuals and legal entities;
- participation in the development of regulatory and technical acts aimed at improving legislation in the field of architectural and construction control.
