LIQUEFIED GAS
The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan allocated 10,747 tons of liquefied petroleum gas for February 2022 to ensure the domestic market of the Aktobe region.
In the region, LPG producers are JSC «SNPS-Aktobemunaigas», LLP «Kazakhoil Aktobe» and LLP «Gas Processing Company», operate 11 gas grid organizations that carry out wholesale and retail sales of LPG, as well as operate more than 190 gas filling stations.
To date, according to Decree of the Agency for the Protection and Development of Competition of the Republic of Kazakhstan № 1 dated January 5, 2022 «On introduction of temporary state price regulation for the sale of liquefied petroleum gas», the cost of retail sale of LPG at gas stations in Aktobe is 50 tenge per liter, and in remote settlements 55 tenge.
Also, according to Order № 4 dated January 9, 2022 of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan « On approval of the reference price of liquefied petroleum gas sold under the plan to supply liquefied petroleum gas to the domestic market of the Republic of Kazakhstan outside electronic trading platforms», the maximum price of liquefied petroleum gas sold under the plan for the supply of liquefied petroleum gas to the domestic market of the Republic of Kazakhstan outside the ETP was approved for the period from January 1 to March 31, 2022 in the amount of 28,000 tenge per ton excluding VAT.
