There are a lot of Kazakh children studying in madrassas…

There are a lot of Kazakh children studying in madrassas…

There are many Kazakh children studying in madrassas...

...there are many of us who are still interested in religious education. On the one hand, this was influenced by religious strife and terrorist acts in the world. At the same time, no one can deny that many educators led by Abu Nasr al-Farabi and Abai Kunanbayev studied in madrasas. "Asylds do not rust", and to this day the continuity of those special educational institutions that, in accordance with our traditional religion and mentality, serve the requirements of Sharia has not been interrupted. One of the few madrasas in our country is located in Aktobe.

Lesson progress: there are also social subjects

12 years ago, on the instructions of the Head of state, 9 madrassas and centers for training the elderly were opened in the country in order to enable young people who want to receive religious education to study abroad. One of them is a madrasah that works at the Nur-Gasyr regional Central mosque in Aktobe. Initially, the school, designed for 35 places, due to the large number of applicants, expanded a year later and moved to a building in the village Of bestamak, alginsky district. Since then, it has been accepting and teaching students from the left. The head of this institution, Abdimutali Daurenbekov, told us about this:

- in 2016, due to the expansion of the educational base, we received the status of a College. Today, Aktobe madrasah College is one of the 6 madrasahs that have received the status of a College in the Republic.

Working with the support of the Spiritual administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan, we aim at the formation, development of the individual and improvement of the profession on the basis of national and civil values, achievements of science and practice. It will learn the basics of Islam and faith through the implementation of a training program for clerics, including theologians and religious scholars.

A hostel, a library, a prayer room, a gym, and all conditions have been created for carefree learning. All this is done in order to bring up a pure, carefree, sincere Muslim, " he says.

To date, 17 teachers teach at the Aktobe madrasa College. Among them, there are also those who work according to the clock system. A total of 26 personnel will serve those who will work on the path of religion in the future. And the number of students here is 63. these men aged 17-40 years after completing the training program, which lasts about 3 years, can be Imam-molom in mosques, as well as have the opportunity to continue their education in higher education institutions.

In this regard, " can adults study in madrasas?!"it is true that there is a legitimate request. Abdimutali Daurenbekov noted the shortage of specialists in the country and the lack of restrictions in this regard due to the needs of the Executive power and the population. After all, it is desirable that the priest at the place of worship was middle-aged: when a couple got married or made donations, it was about a person who understood the essence of a responsible business…

As for the curriculum, students attend lectures in 34 subjects. According to the curriculum approved by the Ministry of education and science, all secondary specialized educational institutions, in addition to social subjects such as history of Kazakhstan, foreign language, cultural studies, philosophy, political science, etc., Have General professional — Ahlak, ancient Turkic language, practical Arabic, SARF (morphology of the Arabic language), NASL (syntax of the Arabic language). The history of Islam and madhhabs, the mores of Kazakh thinkers will also be studied. Calligraphy, Islam's relationship with another religion, and religious psychology are explained in addition.

Where are the 143 graduates now?

-as I said, the children are studying at a madrasa College. Everything is free. Excellent students are awarded scholarships from the government. For example, currently 44 out of 63 students have such support. They receive from 16 to 19 thousand tenge per month, depending on the score of academic performance. I would like to note that the Spiritual administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan is our direct founder. Local entrepreneurs also help.

Since opening, we have trained 143 graduates. Many of them perform various functions in mosques. I plan to continue my studies at Nur-Mubarak University in Almaty, in universities in Egypt, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Tatarstan. So, at present, 17 graduates study at the first University, and 9 abroad. Salamat Abdizhappar is studying for a master's degree at a University in the United Arab Emirates, and Adilbek Orazbayev is graduating from The Islamic Sharia Institute in Turkey with a red diploma this year — this is a great achievement for us. We are proud of these students, says have Abdumutal Daurenbekov.

According to the annual tradition, the madrasah College, which accepts graduates from mid-summer, now teaches those who have completed the 9th grade of the school. However, since more than half of the classes in a religious educational institution are taught in Arabic, a short-term preparatory course is organized before the exam.

Now the mission of madrassas-colleges that switched to distance learning due to the quarantine — is to open a University in Aktobe that will unite the youth of the region in the West of the country. Earlier, with the support of the Executive power, 5 hectares of land were provided in the South-West-2 microdistrict, where a giant building of this institution will be built. "We have an idea to transfer the madrasah College to Aktobe. Dormitories, a canteen, a mosque, shopping pavilions, not to mention a training base will be built in the complex. This requires 7 billion tenge. After all funds are collected on a charitable basis, with the assistance of sponsors, construction work will begin. To date, all the documents are ready, " the head of the Aktobe madrasah College shared his plans.

ACCORDING to the official data of the Spiritual administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan, there are 9 madrassas in THE country. 5 of them have College status.

The very word "Madrasah" came to us from the Arabic language. The translation into the Kazakh language means reading. Secondary (rarely higher) confessional Muslim school. Among these Arabs, the seventh and eighth centuries appeared in the countries of the Near and Middle East in the ninth and Tenth centuries in the open encyclopedia "Wikipedia".

"There are many Aktobe residents who receive religious education"

How many young people from Aktobe study in religious educational institutions? What requirements must be met to enroll in educational institutions in this area?

Do guys and girls have support in terms of free training? We asked these and other questions to the head of the regional Department for religious Affairs.

- Aktobe is one of the most difficult regions of the country in the religious situation — in particular, the Alginsky, Mugalzhar, Temir, Khromtau, and Shalkar districts require a special approach in this regard. For this purpose, a center dealing with religious issues operates in these regions. To increase the number of qualified specialists in the region, there are madrasahs-colleges and preparatory courses. The latter was opened last year in accordance with a bilateral Memorandum between Nur-Mubarak University and the akimat of Aktobe region in order to provide religious personnel. Special religious courses are taught by qualified teachers of Nur-Mubarak University, well-known teachers of theology in our country. The duration of training is 1 year. Currently, 14 students study at preparatory courses in Aktobe on a free basis. Bed and Board are free of charge.

The requirements for admission to preparatory courses are as follows: the applicant must have completed school, College, or higher education; they do not have to have a religious education, but they must be trained from the primary level. The course program includes Arabic, Islamic law, questions of faith, and hadith. Those who successfully complete the course are enrolled in the above-mentioned University. Otherwise, it will be problematic for anyone to immediately enter a religious University. This is done for this purpose.

In addition, last year, with the support of the Governor of the region in the 2019-2020 academic year, Nur-Mubarak University was granted a grant to study at the age of 8 years, and 5 students studying at this University on a paid basis received a year's training through public funds. And 2 graduates of the madrasah College in Aktobe in the direction of the Spiritual administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan continue their studies at the al-Azhar University of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

A total of 153 Aktobe students are currently studying in theological educational institutions in Kazakhstan. In General, relatively speaking, every year there are more and more people who want to get a religious education. But the lack of specialists is still relevant,-says the head of the information and analytical center "Ansar" Nursultan Zhanshin.
