The Department of interfaith relations is a structural division Of the Department of religious Affairs (hereinafter-the Department) and reports directly to the head of the Department;
The division carries out its activities in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Law of Republic of Kazakhstan "On religious activity and religious associations", acts of the President and government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, acts of akim of the region, the Regulation about the state institution "Directorate for religious Affairs of Aktobe region"

Tasks of the Departmen:

-оrganization of implementation and participation in events on observance of inter-confessional and inter-ethnic harmony, counteraction to extremism and terrorism in the region, information and propaganda events to explain the legislation;
-consideration of issues related to violations of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on religious activities and religious associations";
-promotion of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on religious activities and religious associations" through the media of the State information policy;
-the provision of public services is carried out in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on public services".
