Educational activities in the region are carried out by 413 secondary schools, the number of children in them is 159,674.
Including:
- 403 state-owned, the contingent of 157873 students;
- 10 private, contingent of -1801 students
- 2-party (shift), contingent - 90 students.
In the 2020-2021 academic year, 11th grade students from all schools in the region switched to training according to the updated educational program. Thus, all classes of schools in the region are taught according to the updated curriculum.
As part of the updated content of education on the basis of the "Center for Pedagogical Excellence" of the autonomous organization of education "Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools" and the National Center for Advanced Studies "Orleu", advanced training courses were organized.
During the training, 12463 teachers were covered. These teachers receive a bonus of 30% for teaching on the updated content.
There are 104 leading schools in the region, providing methodological support for the updated content of education, magnetic schools are attached to them.
Working with gifted children
In the region, work is being carried out to support talented youth.
In the regional school of the Olympic reserve "Zhalyn" and research laboratories opened at the regional scientific and practical center of additional education "Aktobe-Daryn" to prepare for republican, International intellectual competitions, scientists of the Aktobe Regional State University named after K. Zhubanov have been fruitfully working for 12 years and educate the winners of the Olympiads.
In accordance with paragraph 55 of the National Action Plan for the implementation of the Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Tokayev "Constructive public dialogue is the basis of stability and prosperity in Kazakhstan", a roadmap has been developed for the implementation of a system for identifying gifted children living in rural areas, as well as from low-income and large families, to further support and develop their abilities.
In September-October 2020, 12 events were held with the participation of the children of the village. In total, 366 children from the village took part in them, 117 of them became winners (a total of 140 students took part in 3 regional intellectual Olympiads, of which 49 are rural children; out of 170 young athletes who took part in 3 sports competitions, 88 are students in a rural school; from 588 children who took part in 6 regional creative competitions, 229 are gifted rural youth, of which 60 are winners).
In the project "Elbasy Medal", implemented within the framework of the Social Initiative of the Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy "El Umiti", 318 participants from the Aktobe region are currently going through the stages of the competition of gold (14), silver (9), bronze (295) levels.
Currently, 138 participants of the National Intellectual Olympiad "Myk Bala" undergo free training in an online school through the platform of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy.
In accordance with clause 25 of the Standard Rules for Admission to Training in Educational Organizations that implement general educational curricula of primary, basic secondary and general secondary education, approved by order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 12, 2018 No. 564, the winners of grades 6 in the period from 5 Until September 9 of this year, they applied to specialized schools for gifted children of the country, and students of the Khazretov secondary school of Martuk district Adil Kunay, secondary school named after B. Suleimenov, Shalkar district Omirbek Berdibek were admitted to the Aktobe regional specialized boarding school for gifted adolescents "Bilim-innovation".
In the online school "Birge oqy", organized in the framework of the project "El Umit", initiated by the First President N. Nazarbayev, 138 students study in Aktobe region (5th grade - 63, 6th grade-75).
