Preschool education and training.

In the region there are 540 preschool organizations with a contingent of 42 427, including 380 (contingent - 38 484) - kindergartens, 160 (3943) - mini-centers.
The coverage of children from 1 to 6 years old is 86.1%, the coverage of children from 3 to 6 years old with preschool education and training is -100%.
In pursuance of the President's Address, the education departments have taken a number of measures to provide children with preschool education and training at an early age. The coverage of children aged 1 to 3 years in 9 districts of the region is higher than the regional indicator (the regional indicator is 53.4%).
Kobdinsky (99%), Baiganinsky (99%), Irgiz (79.8%), Martuk (79.8%) districts did this work effectively.
The share of places in private preschool organizations is 33.3% of the total number of open places
Currently, there are 154 private preschool organizations with a contingent of 14,133 children in the region, 99% of them have placed a state order for preschool education and training.
The placement of a state order for preschool education and training influenced the increase in the network of private kindergartens over the past three years by 23.3%, or from 118 to 154 units (in 2018 - 118 units, in 2019 - 128 units, in 2020 - 154 units).
Active work is underway to attract business to the field of preschool education. Of the 19 preschool organizations opened in 2020, 16 or 84.2% are opened by the private sector.
In the region, 9649 children are registered in the queue for receiving places in preschool organizations (2019 - 10 196 children), including 4399 children in Aktobe (45.5% of the total priority).
Compared to last year, the number of children registered in the queue has decreased by 547.
In accordance with the Step-by-Step Plan for the opening and commissioning of preschool organizations in 2021, it is planned to open 26 preschool organizations for 3585 places, including 20 to 3000 places to open in Aktobe.
Out of 3527 pedagogical workers of preschool organizations in the region, 2956 (83.8%) have higher and specialized secondary education in the specialty "Preschool education and training". Recently, there has been a significant improvement in the quality of the pedagogical staff of DO.
If in 2018 only 67.3% of educators had special vocational training in the field of preschool education and training. In 2018, this indicator reached 83.8% (RK-73.4%).
