A major project for the production of white sugar - sand from sugar beet in Western Kazakhstan will be implemented as part of the instructions of the Head of State to ensure food security and saturation of the market with domestic products.
The construction of a sugar factory is one of the priorities for Kazakhstan, since the market of our country and, in particular, the Aktobe region remains dependent on imports.
Omtis Ortadoğu Makina, which has extensive experience in the construction of complex engineering projects, is ready to invest 550 million US dollars. The capacity of the plant is 330 thousand tons per year. 180 jobs will be created.
The forum was attended by diplomatic missions of more than 30 countries, members of the Government, heads of national holdings and companies, financial institutions, transnational corporations, representatives of large foreign and domestic businesses, scientists and experts.
The international event was organized in order to present the investment potential of the region, promote a favorable investment image, as well as further stimulate the inflow of domestic and foreign investments into the economy of the Aktobe region.

An agricultural fair is being held in the capital with the participation of producers of goods of Aktobe region.
