The winners of the V regional championship of children's and youth choral music, organized by the Aktobe Regional Philharmonic named after G. Zhubanova, were determined.
The championship is held for the fifth time in the region. This year, 21 teams competed in this competition. According to the rules of the competition, each group performed 4 works. The leaders of such a well-known choral school as "Elim AI" were specially invited from Almaty to judge.
The competition was attended by applicants from music and art schools of the districts and the city. There are choral circles in 5 music schools and districts of the city. Private art schools also have group Vocal circles.
It should be noted that the purpose of the competition is to introduce the public to the modern children's choral musical art of Kazakhstan, popularize various directions and trends of choral music, and identify talents. At the championship, artists performed a capella, a patriotic character, works by foreign composers and works by contemporary authors.

Today, the grand opening ceremony of the mobile exhibition "Baba Kalgan Amanat", created from ethnographic collections from the funds of the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took place.
Akim of the region Yeraly Tugzhanov, a well — known scientist, chief researcher of the Institute of Archeology named after A. Margulan Zeynolla Samashev noted the importance of the exhibition, which tells about the history of the Kazakh people, including the rich spiritual heritage-culture and crafts.
The exposition of the exhibition includes the best samples of clothing, dishes, textiles, home furnishings, musical instruments, horse harnesses and jewelry, as well as valuable items used by famous historical figures.
Among the exhibits are the heritage of Sultan Aishuak, Kobyzy of ZHA Musa, dombra and violin, Bokan Valikhanov's burka, dombra of the Kazakh singer Amre Kashaubayuly, poet Manarbek Yerzhanov, scientist, the first Kazakh academician Kanysh Satbayev. The event was attended by representatives of the intelligentsia, local historians, scientists and students.
The exhibition will last until April 15.

This year, the City House of culture under the Department of culture and language development of Aktobe celebrates its 45th anniversary. On December 9, events dedicated to the memory of the public figure, excellent worker of culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kazi Zhasekenov, who founded the first house of culture, were held.
First of all, a memorial plaque dedicated to him was opened. On this occasion, a meeting was held in front of the City House of Culture. The presenters spoke widely about the life path of Kazi Zhasekenov, his contribution to the development of Kazakh culture, including the promotion of National Art in the first years of independence, as well as about the art collectives of the region opened under his leadership.

- Kazi Kudaibergenovich is a person who has lived all his life as a companion of art, mourning the absence of art, supporting everything, caring for all the people around him.
