The region has 13 state archives (1 regional, 12 district)

        The archive was created in 1923. The total number of employees in the regional archives is 89, of which 50.5 are archivists.

   To date, the volume of the regional archive fund is 3200 funds of 1033801 units.

       The state service "issuance of archive certificates, copies of archival documents or archival extracts" provided by state archives is provided more than 10,000 (ten thousand) times annually. Through the e-government portal, requests make up 90%.

       Since October 2017, work has been carried out to digitize documents through the "Electronic Archives" information system.
