In the Alga region, as of July 1, 2021, the number of registered small and medium-sized businesses is 2322, that is, an increase of 114.2% compared to last year (765 - KH, 1333 - IE, 224 - LLP). Operating entrepreneurs amounted to 2,240 units, an increase of 113.7% (757 - KH, 1291 - IE, 192-LLP). The share of registered subjects, out of active subjects, was 96.5%. Inactive entrepreneurs amounted to 81 units. (8-KX, 42-IP, 32-TOO).

Since the beginning of the year, 19 objects of small and medium-sized enterprises have been put into operation in the district. In general, most of the registered SMEs are engaged in agriculture 32.5%, trade 21.5%, transport and warehouse 7.6%, construction 3.5%, education 1%, health 0.7%, real estate 2%, housing and food 1.1%, entertainment and recreation 0.6%, other activities 16.9%.

The volume of products manufactured by SMEs at the end of the 1st quarter amounted to 4065.0 million tenge or 95.2%.

In the field of entrepreneurship, 4309 people were employed, including an increase of 107.4% compared to last year.

The retail trade turnover amounted to 1363.3 million tenge or 100.1%, percent.
