Residents of the Mangystau region received more than 50,000 passports and identity cards in the first half of 2025.
Since the beginning of this year, 51,369 passports and identity cards have been issued to residents of the Mangystau region through the public service centers of the branch of the NAO State Corporation Government for Citizens.
During the summer period, there is traditionally an increase in the number of citizens applying for documents to travel abroad. Families with children planning holidays abroad are especially active in obtaining passports.
We remind you that the cost of document processing services is: • Passport (36 pages) — 31,456 tenge (8 MCI) • Passport (48 pages) — 47,184 tenge (12 MCI) • Children's passport (24 pages) — 15,728 tenge (4 MCI) • Identity card — 786.4 tenge (0.2 MCI) The amount of the monthly calculation index (MCI) in 2025 is 3,932 tenge.
To receive the documentation service, you must provide an application, an identity card or passport (if replaced), a receipt for payment of the state fee, and if a citizen receives a certificate for the first time, at the age of 16, then you must provide a birth certificate. It is important to note that you can get an identity card and passport in any PSC in Kazakhstan, regardless of your place of residence.
