The following work is carried out in the field of education: organizes the purchase and delivery of textbooks and teaching aids to educational organizations implementing general educational programs for pre-school preparation, primary, basic secondary and general secondary education, provides additional education for children, organizes and holds school Olympiads and competitions of scientific projects in general educational subjects, district-level competitions, allocates funds to provide financial and material assistance to students, pupils of state educational institutions from families entitled to receive state targeted social assistance, as well as from families not receiving state targeted social assistance, in which the per capita income is below the subsistence minimum, and orphans, children left without parental care living in families, children from families requiring emergency assistance as a result of emergency situations, and other categories of students and pupils determined by the collegial governing body of the educational organization, in the amount of at least one percent of the budget funds allocated for the current maintenance of general education schools, organizes, in the manner established by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, medical care for students and pupils of educational organizations, with the exception of preschool ones, organizes, in the manner prescribed by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, free and subsidized meals for certain categories of students and pupils, carries out educational monitoring, organizes the order and provision of educational organizations implementing general educational programs of basic secondary, general secondary education, with forms of state-standard documents on education and exercises control over their use, carries out personnel provision of state educational organizations, provides methodological guidance to the psychological service in educational organizations, issues permission for external studies in organizations of basic secondary, general secondary education, ensures the functioning of supporting schools (resource centers), organizes and holds a competition for filling a vacant position of heads of state secondary educational organizations (hereinafter referred to as the competition) is organized and by a state institution, organizes and conducts certification of heads of educational organizations implementing educational programs of primary general, basic general or secondary general education, with the exception of special and specialized education, as well as preschool and extracurricular organizations, identifying the level of compliance of the competence of a teaching staff member with the qualification requirements for establishing and confirming the corresponding category, expanding the motivational sphere of activity of a teaching staff member for the design of personal achievements, encourages employees for success in work and achievements in the field of education and science.
