16. Functions:

• implementation of state programs to support entrepreneurship, agriculture and veterinary medicine in the region, monitoring the development of small and medium businesses;
• registration of permits for the trade of seasonal fruit and vegetable products and conducts explanatory work with citizens engaged in trade in unauthorized places on the territory of the district;
• monitoring prices of socially significant goods in the region and implementing a policy to stabilize prices;
• organizes exhibitions and fairs;
• provide assistance to entrepreneurs of the district in the area of ​​state support with financial organizations (banks, microorganisms, funds, etc.);
• develops measures to create conditions conducive to the development of entrepreneurial activity in the region;
• coordination of the activities of the expert council on entrepreneurship issues under the Akimat;

• making proposals to the local representative body of the region for approval of rules for keeping animals;
• organizing the capture and destruction of stray dogs and cats;
• conducting events on veterinary issues in the district;
• making decisions on the establishment and lifting of quarantine or restrictive measures based on the submission of the chief state veterinary and sanitary inspector of the relevant territory in the event of the occurrence of contagious animal diseases in the district;
• ensuring veterinary and sanitary safety;
• implementation of measures in the area of ​​epizootic foci;
• organization of veterinary measures for enzootic diseases of animals in the district;
• organization of events for the identification of farm animals;
• implementation of work in the field of veterinary drugs;
• monitoring macroeconomic indicators of the agricultural sector in the region, collecting information, forecasting and analyzing the work of livestock and agricultural crops, plant growing;
• ensuring the implementation of measures for the agro-industrial complex, the introduction of advanced technologies and equipment in agriculture, the rational use of agricultural land, the development of new pasture lands, meadow and arable lands, irrigation and water supply.
• provision of public services in the field of agriculture, ensuring the issuance and maintenance of quality and timely reporting assigned to the department. Implementation of other tasks that meet the interests of local authorities.
