Carries out the following within its competence: control over compliance with the legislation on regulatory acts in the field of architecture and urban planning, verification of received applications on land issues, including the legality of schemes in accordance with the land plan, implementation and implementation of state architectural and urban planning policy on the territory of the district, organization of the preparation of the district planning project, the general plan of rural settlements, the project for the placement of housing and civil and communal buildings, suburban zone projects, as well as projects of private buildings and structures, participation in work on the selection of land plots for construction and other urban development, organization of acceptance into operation of a number of housing and civil, cultural and domestic, communal, and industrial facilities on the territory of the district.
