In the Karakiyan district there are 2 central hospitals, 2 polyclinics, 5medical out-patient's clinics , 2 medical centers. They employ 72 doctors and 325 nurses.
Since January 1, 2020, medical institutions have been providing services under the compulsory social health insurance system.
