The following works are carried out on transport and highways: organizes the construction and operation of transport infrastructure facilities of district significance, organizes work on the construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance of roads of district significance, in accordance with the legislation on public procurement, organizes passenger transport links between populated areas (interdistrict), develops and implements plans and programs for the development of highways of district significance public use of streets in localities within the relevant territory, carries out interaction of authorized state bodies with local government bodies in matters of road management, transport and communication complex and control over the implementation of decisions taken, manages roads, housing and – municipal utilities owned by communal utilities, municipal road enterprises and the execution of local budget items for their financing, conducts, in accordance with the legislation, tenders for the performance of road works of a network of highways of local significance and passenger transportation services, concludes and coordinates contracts for the organization of regular passenger routes.
