• implementation of state programs to support entrepreneurship, agriculture and veterinary medicine in the district, monitor the development of small and medium-sized businesses;

• making decisions on the establishment and lifting of quarantine or restrictive measures on the recommendation of the chief state veterinary and sanitary inspector of the relevant territory in the event of infectious animal diseases in the territory of the district;

• organization of veterinary activities on enzootic diseases of animals in the district;

• ensuring the implementation of measures for the agro-industrial complex, the introduction of advanced technologies and equipment in agriculture, the rational use of agricultural land, the development of new pasture lands, meadow and arable lands, irrigation and water supply.
