The implementation of cultural and entertainment events is organized through the only place of art in the city - the cultural and entertainment complex named after Abay. The complex is located in a purpose-built 3-story building, has an auditorium with 607 seats, a small hall with 180 seats, halls for 5 dances and other clubs. The central library of the city is located on the left wing of the cultural and entertainment complex named after Abay. There are 6 branches in the city (in 6, 12, 14, 26, 29 microdistricts) and 1 branch in the village of Umirzak.
