In the field of transport and highways, the following activities are carried out: organizes the construction and operation of transport infrastructure of regional significance, organizes the construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance of roads of regional significance, in accordance with the legislation on public procurement, organizes passenger transport links between populated areas( inter-district), develops and implements plans and programs for the development of roads of regional significance, public streets in localities within the relevant territory, carries out interaction of authorized state bodies with local government bodies in matters of road management, transport and communication complex and control over the implementation of decisions taken, manages roads, housing – public utilities that are owned by the community, public road enterprises and the execution of local budget items for their financing, conducts competitions in accordance with the legislation for the performance of road works of the local road network and passenger transportation services, concludes and approves contracts for the organization of regular passenger routes.
