The large-scale forum "AФM Online 2024" has come to an end, aimed at drawing public attention to existing problems of fraud, drops, and financial pyramids.
It is noteworthy that the speeches of the speakers were primarily aimed at bloggers and explaining the legal requirements and tax obligations for their activities.
In live broadcast, 35 universities of the country, which is about 20 thousand students, were able to receive information from both the heads of specialized departments and financial experts and analysts.
In his welcoming speech, the Chairman of the Agency, Dmitry Malakhov, noted that the main task of «AФM-online» is to explain the basics of financial literacy to the younger generation.
Malakhov noted that the "AФM Online 2024" platform is designed to unite various experts and public figures, participants in the blogosphere and government agencies to develop productive mechanisms to combat economic and financial crimes.
During the forum, issues of improving mechanisms to combat fraudulent schemes were touched upon.
The Chairman of the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market, Madina Abilkasimova, said that the launched Anti-Fraud Center will make it possible to quickly protect Kazakhstanis from various illegal schemes into which they may be drawn.
In addition, M. Abilkasimova told the audience about what measures are being taken to prevent telephone fraud in order to gain access to mobile banking applications.
In turn, the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aida Balaeva, said that since the beginning of this year, 257 illegal materials containing signs of false information have been identified on the Internet.
The head of the Ministry of Information and Communications noted the importance of improving legislation to minimize disinformation and combat prohibited advertising, and also noted the need for joint action with the blogosphere against such phenomena.
The Minister of Digital Development, Zhaslan Madiyev, also spoke about the need to develop a joint understandable policy for regulating digital assets.
He called for a comprehensive approach in this direction, taking into account the positions of all interested parties, including law enforcement agencies.
There is a need to distinguish between the illegal circulation of digital assets and the activities of individuals who make legal investments in digital assets. This measure will ensure security and stability in the industry, said Z. Madiyev.
And the Minister of Science and Higher Education, Sayasat Nurbek, cited three concepts put forward by the President of the country, aimed at developing a person as a person, and turned to students connected in online mode with a request to be vigilant and not be deceived by scammers.
In general, at the fields of the past forum, experts and financial analysts, as well as FMА employees, analyzed real cases where criminals tried to seize the funds of citizens.
Participants note the importance of holding such meetings more often and expressed the hope that the forum will become traditional.
I would like to announce that the FMА is announcing a competition for the best preventive video for university students.
The author of the video that receives the most votes will be awarded valuable prizes.
The terms are available on the FMА Instagram page.
