In the Pavlodar region, the organized criminal group caused damage to the state in the amount of about 1 billion tenge

The Department of Economic Investigations for the Pavlodar region of the Agency for Financial Monitoring of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the framework of the OPM "STOP-CASH" revealed the fact of issuing fictitious invoices without actually performing work, providing services and shipping goods.
It was established that a group of persons in the territory of the Pavlodar region in the period from 2018 to 2019 was engaged in issuing fictitious accounting documents on "mutual settlements". Thus, the organized criminal group provided assistance in tax evasion to counterparty enterprises, as a result of which the state suffered damage in the amount of about 1 billion tenge.
According to this fact, a pre-trial investigation has been launched, which checks the involvement of the defendants in other criminal offenses (embezzlement of budget funds during public procurement, legalization of income (property) obtained by criminal means, as well as the withdrawal of capital abroad).
