The Ministry of justice participates in the legal support of Kazakhstan's activities in the international arena in order to protect its national interests, strengthen the authority of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the world community.

The main task is to prepare for the conclusion and legal expertise of draft international treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan within the competence of the Ministry of justice, legal expertise of draft normative legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the conclusion, execution and termination of international treaties of bilateral and multilateral character, except for issues of economic integration.

The Ministry of justice coordinates the implementation by state bodies of the recommendations of the UN human rights Council within the framework of the Universal periodic review and the recommendations of the UN human rights Committee on the implementation of the ratified international Covenant on civil human rights.

International integration cooperation

One of the tasks of the Ministry of justice is legal support of Kazakhstan's activities in the international arena on international economic integration within the framework of the Eurasian economic Union( EAEU), the world trade organization (WTO) and legal protection of national interests in integration processes, legal expertise of draft international treaties, draft acts of the EAEU bodies

Draft international treaties, draft acts of the EAEU bodies and draft normative legal acts on international economic integration, which are within the competence of the Ministry of justice, are being developed.

The Ministry of justice participates in full-time meetings of the Council of the EAEU Commission at the level of Deputy Prime Ministers of the EAEU member States, the EAEU intergovernmental Council at the level of Prime Ministers of the EAEU member States and the Supreme Council of the EAEU at the Level of heads of the EAEU member States.
