The term of the administrative procedure initiated on the basis of an appeal is fifteen working days from the date of receipt of the appeal, unless otherwise provided by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The term of the administrative procedure initiated on the basis of an appeal is calculated from the moment of its initiation.
The term of the administrative procedure initiated on the basis of an appeal may be extended by a reasoned decision of the head of the administrative body or his deputy for a reasonable period, but not more than two months due to the need to establish factual circumstances that are important for the correct consideration of the administrative case, of which the participant in the administrative procedure is notified within three working days from the date of extension of the term.
For an unjustified extension of the term of the administrative procedure, the person authorized to make a decision bears disciplinary and other liability in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
