The branch of the Government for Citizens state Corporation in the Abai region reported the most popular names of newborns in 2025. For ten months, residents of the region most often called their children by the names Abai, Islam, Amina and Yasmin.
In total, over 6,000 births were registered in the region during this period, which is two thousand more than a year earlier. The names Alina and Yasmin are the leaders among girls, while Abai and Islam are the leaders among boys. Parents have chosen each of these names more than twenty times.
We remind you that you can apply for birth registration in several ways: through the PSC, through the e-government portal, as well as through the applications of second-tier banks. In addition, citizens can receive the service in a proactive format.
So, during the day, the newborn's mother will receive a congratulatory SMS from number 1414 with a step-by-step request for information necessary for the provision of the service.
