As part of the implementation of the republican environmental program "Taza Kazakhstan", as well as in order to improve the level of sanitary conditions, improvement, landscaping of the urban area and create favorable conditions for comfortable living of the population, the Akimat of the city of Kurchatov adopted Resolution No. 45/1 dated March 26, 2025.
In accordance with this resolution, in the period from April 5 to June 7, 2025, a two-month set of measures for sanitary cleaning, improvement and landscaping in the format of clean-up days will be carried out in the city.
The following activities are provided for within the framework of the two-month clean-up day:
sanitary cleaning of streets, territories of institutions, private courtyards and retail facilities;
improvement of the territories of historical and cultural heritage sites;
whitewashing of green spaces;
planting of 3,000 trees and flowers;
sanitary cleaning of the yards of home front veterans;
Garbage collection on the banks of the Irtysh River with the participation of volunteers and city residents.
