Socio-political situation
In the reporting period, the socio-political situation in the Kokpekty district remained stable. The message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan KAZAKHSTAN IN a NEW REALITY: TIME OF ACTION from September 1, 2020 received wide promotion and explanation among the population of the district.
The analysis of the current state of the socio-political situation of the district, identified strengths and weaknesses, threats and opportunities for development.
Registered and operates in the district 1 branch of the party "NurOtan", which takes an active position in the socio-political life of the district. The branch of the party, together with local executive bodies and non-governmental organizations, takes an active part in regional events, assists in strengthening the socio-political situation. The total number of party members in 2020 was 1,523.
Interethnic harmony has been successful for a number of years. This is facilitated by the activities of ethnic and cultural associations of Germans "Hofnung", Kazakhs "Miras " and"asylmura". More than 20 nationalities live in the district,including: Kazakhs-76.2%, Russians-19.8% and 4% are other nationalities. The public association "District Council of Veterans", "Organization of Veterans of the War in Afghanistan", youth and patriotic association "kokpektyzhastary"are actively involved in the work to strengthen interethnic and patriotic education of the younger generation. In all rural districts there are Councils of the public, veterans, elders, fathers, women, and youth. By the end of 2020, the level the proportion of the population which is positively estimating the state policy in the sphere of interfaith relations totalled 89.5 %.
In order to implement the information policy on the national TV channels about the area organized display of 33 reports on regional television 38 stories in the national print media published 41 articles on the pages of regional print media published 128 articles.
Thanks to the active explanatory work of information groups, the level of awareness of the population about the main directions of state policy was 87.6 %.
In 2020, there are no conflicts on religious grounds. Representatives of different religious confessions treat each other with understanding and show tolerance. On the territory of the district there are 12 religious associations, among them 11 represent Islam, 1-Orthodoxy. The number of parishioners in religious associations in 2020 amounted to 9,450 people. In total, 106 events were organized in the field of religion over the past year, covering 7,150 people, which is 25.8 % of the total population.
In the Kokpekty district, there are 5,450 young people aged 14 to 29 years,of which 2,630 are boys and 2,820 are girls. In the field of state youth policy,263 events were organized, including 82 cultural events, 76 patriotic events, 61 sports events, and 44 educational events.
This year, as part of the implementation of the "Rukhani Zhangyru" program, 6 projects were implemented in our district and 76 events were held for a total of 41 million tenge.
One of the forms of interaction between society and the authorities is Public councils. In 2020, the district public council held 4 meetings, 4 public hearings, at which 17 regulatory legal acts were considered. Reports of 4 heads of state bodies were heard, 1 public monitoring was conducted and 14 recommendations were developed.
