- After donating your plasma at the blood center, you can help at least two serious patients at once. No harm is done to your health, plasma transfer is a simple and safe process.
- The immune plasma donor can be a person over 18 years of age from the moment of moderate to severe COVID-19 disease and at least 14 days from the moment of full recovery.
- All potential donors must undergo a blood test for COVID-19 antibodies (IgG class) at their place of residence.
- Then, if the result is positive for antibodies, the district service sends donors for further examination to the regional blood center or to the Semey blood center for clinical and biochemical parameters, blood group, hepatitis B, C, HIV, syphilis, brucellosis.
