The Department of Education of the Abai region held a videoconference meeting with the participation of representatives of the Department of the Agency for Combating Corruption in the Abai region, as well as employees of the Department of Education of the Zharminsky district, directors and accountants of subordinate educational organizations.
The concept of the anti-corruption policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2022-2026 defines the fundamental link in the anti-corruption system to identify and minimize corruption risks, conditions and causes accompanying their occurrence, which is also reflected in the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Combating Corruption".
The Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Civil Service" obliges civil servants to comply with the legislation and improve their professional level and qualifications for the effective performance of official duties.
In accordance with the National Plan "100 concrete steps", much attention is paid to the prevention of offenses
KSU "Regional Innovation and Methodological Center" of the Department of Education of the Abai region on March 31, 2023, on the basis of secondary school No. 17, holds the regional stage of the republican festival of children's creativity RoboBalapan-2023.
The festival is part of the robotics development program supported by the KazRobotics Federation in Kazakhstan.
The significance of the festival is in popularizing the topic of robotics among children and adults in the Republic of Kazakhstan, stimulating joint creative work of children and their parents (legal representatives), promoting preschool technical creativity, identifying and encouraging active teachers of preschool education, involving parents and family members as partners in the educational activities of the child. The festival is also an event that promotes the role of the family and the union of teachers in the formation of a favorable environment for the development of the younger generation.
At the festival , teams compete in three tasks:
Task 1, the main theme of the team project is "Robot assistant for the construction site".
Task 2 - "Robogolf".
Task 3 - "Dynamic toy".
The festival will be attended by 12 teams of 2 children from kindergartens and preschool educational organizations aged 5 to 6 years, two parents (or legal representatives) and teachers-managers.
The winning teams are awarded with diplomas of the Kazrobotics Federation. The best team will receive a ticket to the republican stage of the festival.
The March UNT has started in the Abai region.
More than 3 thousand applications were accepted for this UNT in the region.
Testing is carried out from March 10 to March 30.
According to the results of the March UNT, you can enter universities only on a paid basis.
During testing, a calculator, a periodic table and solubility of salts will be available on computer screens for all graduates.
On March 02-11, 2023, the First Pacific-Asian Judo Games among athletes with disabilities (Kyrgyzstan) were held in Bishkek, where 8 countries took part: Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Korea, Japan, Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia.
The honor of Kazakhstan was also defended by athletes from the Abai region, a graduate of the Semey Polytechnic College Baktiyarova Lyazzat and a 3rd-year student of the Semey Polytechnic College Zhetpisbayeva Ayim. In their weight categories, the athletes won bronze at the 1st Pacific-Asian Games!
Recall that the girls participated in this kind of world-class competitions for the first time. Ayim also took first place in the weight category up to 48 kg at the championship in the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2023.
In 2022, Brazil hosted the XXIV Summer Deaflympics in judo. At the games held among athletes with hearing impairment, Honored Master of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Baktiyarova Lyazzat became the best in the weight up to 63 kg, who won bronze.
"The Deaflympics is the most important competition among athletes, we practiced six times a week, we wanted to show even better results, but the third place in such a large–scale competition is also a very great achievement," says the coach of the athletes Madina Toktamysova.

KSU "Regional Innovation and Methodological Center" of the Department of Education of the Abai region, together with KSU "Pavlodar Regional Information Technology Center" of the Department of Education of the Pavlodar region and KSU "Innovative Center for Education Development" of the Department of Education of the Pavlodar region, on March 15-16, 2023, is holding an interregional scientific and practical online conference (via the zoom platform) on the topic "Development of STEAM in the education system".
The main purpose of the organization of the conference is the formation of the educational environment of STEAM. Exchange of best practices of teachers in the development of functional literacy of students, building a fruitful dialogue.
Participants of the conference: Heads of education departments of the Abai and Pavlodar regions, methodological centers, directors of educational organizations, teachers, students and teachers-undergraduates, IT companies.
A collection of scientific articles will be developed and published as part of the event.
Within the framework of the Reading School project, the regional online seminar "Modern Librarianship: content, best practices" was organized by the Regional Innovation and Methodological Center. The seminar was attended by employees of district and city school libraries.
Purpose of the seminar:
- improving the professional skills of librarians,
- effective forms of information service,
- knowledge of library methods and technologies, exchange of best practices.
Exchange of experience in the framework of a professional meeting, implementation of joint library programs in the regions, which will improve the quality of library events and expand the circle of users (including in remote areas).

On March 10, 2023, the next hardware meeting of the Department of Education of the Abai region was held.
The staff meeting was attended by heads of city and district departments of education, heads of methodological offices, directors of regional educational institutions.
The meeting discussed issues related to the organization of hot meals in secondary education organizations, information about the work done to increase Internet speed, analysis of the maintenance of official websites and social pages by education departments of cities and districts, and the implementation of the Reading School project. Following the meeting, recommendations were made.
On March 03, 2023, in order to promote the formation of cognitive abilities, creative interests, and activities of preschool children through involvement in creative work and familiarization with the cultural heritage, traditions, customs and national games of the Kazakh people, the regional stage of the republican contest "Shymkent pen Sheberlik" dedicated to the celebration of the Nauryz holiday was held.
Applications for consideration of 18 competitive video materials were received from seven district and city departments of education.

On March 4-6, 2023, the republican contest "Festival of Pedagogical Ideas" was held in Almaty.
The main purpose of the festival was to stimulate the creative self-realization of professional growth of teachers, the study and dissemination of innovative experience of school leaders in Kazakhstan.
11 teachers took part from the Abai region, 5 of them took prizes:
