PASSED THE FIRST (REGIONAL) THE STAGE OF the PRESIDENTIAL OLYMPIAD
in the subjects of the natural-mathematical cycle

On October 12, 2022, students of the Abai region took part in the first (regional) stage of the presidential Olympiad in subjects of the natural and mathematical cycle, which was held on a single day throughout the republic. The Olympiad was attended only by graduates of the 11th grade of the current academic year of general education organizations that had not previously participated in national and international subject Olympiads.
Goals and objectives of the Olympiad:
1) creating optimal conditions for identifying gifted students in mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology among students of secondary education organizations, their further intellectual development and professional orientation;
2) increasing the interest of students in the study of natural-mathematical subjects, deepening theoretical knowledge and skills;
3) promoting self-realization and self-development of the individual.
Each participant at all stages completed tasks in four subjects: mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology in the language of his training.
In order to ensure an objective assessment of the participants' work, as well as transparency of the conduct and compliance with academic integrity, the course of the Olympiad was broadcast via a YouTube channel.
