The Commission for the Prevention of Emergency Situations conducted monitoring and checking of preparedness for floods

In accordance with the instructions of the regional akim, the regional commission for the prevention of emergency situations on February 20 monitored and inspected flood preparedness in the Abay district.
During the inspection, areas with high flood risk were examined, the condition of engineering and protective structures, the cleanliness of water channels, and the level of preparedness of local executive bodies were reviewed. In addition, the necessary equipment and inert materials (sand, stones, bags) were stockpiled.
The commission members gave a number of specific instructions to the relevant institutions to strengthen security measures and conduct flood prevention work in a timely and effective manner.
