Cooking at home is one of the daily routines in people's lives. But, despite its routine, even such a habitual activity can lead to tragedy if the elementary fire safety rules are not observed when cooking.
recalls the basic rules of fire safety when cooking:
- do not leave the kitchen, do not leave cooking food unattended;
- do not turn on several combs at the same time at maximum power. This can lead to overloading of the power supply and fire;
- if you plan to build the stove into a kitchen set, look at what materials it is made of. Plastic and decorative film in the finish can ignite upon prolonged heat exposure;
- do not keep towels, paper, potholders and other flammable objects near the stove;
- do not put wet foods in the pan, wipe them with a towel before frying - this will prevent oil splashing;
- constantly check the condition of the socket and the electric wire. At the slightest sign of malfunction, have it repaired by a certified workshop.
Remember, your vigilance is the key to your safety!
