The purpose of the Campaign: to ensure road safety in the organization of transportation of students to places of study, prevention of road accidents when transporting children by school buses. Place and period of the Campaign: regions of the Republic, from January 15 to February 15, 2020. High-quality participants: children of preschool and school age, representatives of interested state bodies, commissions on minors ' Affairs and protection of their rights, the parent community, institutions, labor collectives, non-governmental organizations, mass media, local police services, etc. Content and format of the Promotion: The slogan is "For a safe school bus". As part of the campaign, it is planned to: Study of the activities of local Executive bodies for the organization of school transportation: - the state of motor transport for compliance with technical requirements for vehicles, information about passing technical inspection of vehicles, the driver's composition (availability of appropriate categories, driving experience, discipline at the wheel), the presence of a route scheme; - security of access roads to the school (lighting of the territory, pedestrian crossings, the presence of a sign "Children", the creation of artificial road bumps "lying police", etc.); - the presence of special lights (flashing beacons) and sound signals on the vehicle (bus) carrying children; - availability of active video surveillance cameras to access roads to the school, pedestrian crossings; - conducting instruction with school bus drivers on road safety and the inadmissibility of traffic violations, as well as the mandatory use of emergency alarms when boarding and disembarking children.
