Almost 100 thousand citizens receive pension payments in the Abai region

To date, there are 99.108 citizens receiving pension payments in the Abai region. This number also includes pensioners of law enforcement agencies. In 2024, 3,746 people applied for a pension, the average pension in the region is 92,663 tenge. Since July 1, 2001, male Kazakhstanis retire at the age of 63. To date, the retirement age for them remains unchanged. In 2024, women retire, as in 2023 – at the age of 61. At the same time, according to the law, women who gave birth (adopted, adopted) five or more children and those who raised them up to the age of eight are entitled to age pension payments (solidary pension) upon reaching the age of 53. The following documents are provided for the appointment of pension payments: - identity card, certificate of a stateless person, residence permit of a foreigner, oralman's certificate; - information about the number of the bank account in the authorized organization for the issuance of pensions and benefits or the cash control account of the correctional institution; - work record; - military ID; - diploma (full-time education); - employment contract; - the ticket of the sole proprietor; - photo 3*4 – 1 pcs. Women retiring must additionally provide: a birth certificate of children and a children's identity card (if there are no children's identity cards, they must provide a school certificate or a school certificate for children), as well as a marriage certificate (for women and their children when changing their last name), a birth certificate, if the woman's last name changed upon marriage
