The process of re-registration of the car has become easier
Previously, when re-registering vehicles, it was necessary to provide a notarized car purchase and sale agreement. Now the operator of the Special Service can generate an electronic document in the system, and the seller and buyer can sign it using a QR code by scanning it through the eGov mobile application.
It should be noted that the service was developed by the "Government for citizens". The innovation was introduced for the convenience and comfort of service recipients, as well as to eliminate corrupt practices in vehicle registration. Thus, thanks to the integration of information systems of the State Corporation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and JSC NIT, the process of re-registration of cars has become transparent. Forgery of signatures during registration of the transaction is excluded.
When contacting service recipients, an employee of a specialized public service center enters information about the seller and buyer into the system, as well as directly about the vehicle. After that, the system automatically generates an electronic written form of the transaction and displays a QR code on the screen. After scanning it, the buyer and seller of the car can familiarize themselves with the purchase and sale document and sign it using an EDS.
By the way, a similar process is available for representatives of legal entities who have a power of attorney to represent interests and the right to use the organization's EPC through the eGov business application.
Recall that the acceptance of a paper written form of the transaction when reissuing cars was canceled on April 23 this year due to amendments and additions to the Rules for Registration and accounting of vehicles of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
