Border Checkpoints

Kazakhstan borders on the Russian Federation, the People's Republic of China, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

The total length of the land state border of Kazakhstan is 13 402 km, the water border is 1730 km.

There are 101 checkpoints along the border perimeter, of which:

• automobile - 51;
• railway - 27;
• marine - 3;
• river - 1.
