Bilateral Relations with the State of Kuwait

General information

The diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on January 11, 1993.

The Embassy of Kuwait in Kazakhstan was opened on January 2015.

The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kuwait was opened in December 2014.

Azamat Berdibay was assigned the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the State of Kuwait in October 2020.

Omar Ahmad Al-Kanderi was assigned the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Kazakhstan in September 2022.

This site is presented to familiarize the general public with the activities of the diplomatic mission in Kuwait, as well as to provide information support to Kazakhstan’s citizens living in Kuwait and foreign citizens who intend to visit Kazakhstan as a tourist or establish business contacts with the country.
