The diplomatic relations between the two countries were established on January 11, 1993.

The Embassy of Kuwait in Kazakhstan was opened on January 2015.

The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kuwait was opened in December 2014.

Yerzhan Yelekeyev was assigned the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the State of Kuwait in July 2025.

Adel Ahmed Sulaiman Alghenaiman was assigned the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Kazakhstan in April 2026.

This site is presented to familiarize the general public with the activities of the diplomatic mission in Kuwait, as well as to provide information support to Kazakhstan’s citizens living in Kuwait and foreign citizens who intend to visit Kazakhstan as a tourist or establish business contacts with the country.
