The Republic of Kazakhstan became a member of the United Nations on March 2, 1992. The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the UN in New York was established on June 5, 1992. Ever since, Kazakhstan has been actively involved in the work of the UN and its specialized bodies.

Today, Kazakhstan together with its partners continues making significant efforts to counter the global challenges with resolute political will and actions, as it is fully committed to a better, peaceful and secure future.
