Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the United Arab Emirates were established on October 1, 1992. The main tasks of the Consulate General:
- Protection of the rights and interests of individuals and legal entities of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the UAE and the exercise of consular functions;
- Provision of consular and legal advice to citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and provision of appropriate assistance within the framework of current legislation, provision of consular and public services (Registration of the national passport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, registration of a certificate of return, consular registration for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, requesting documents for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Certificates of a legal nature for citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, loss of citizenship of the Republic of Kazakhstan, legalization, notarial actions, registration of a birth certificate, marriage certificate and divorce, etc.)
- Ensuring the development of cooperation between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the UAE, providing assistance to government agencies, public organizations and representatives of the business community of Kazakhstan in establishing contacts and developing relations;
- Interaction and coordination of Kazakhstani students studying in the UAE;
- Cooperation in cultural, humanitarian, educational, medical and other fields;
- Performing other functions related to the main activities of the Consulate General.
