Throughout the life each citizen faces various real-life situations and needs to obtain public services, for instance, he/she needs to register marriage or childbirth; register in out-patient clinic or open business, etc. Today, National Register of the Republic of Kazakhstan has 740 services. 71.9% of which are fully automated and provided under the one stop-shop principle. 

Kazakhstani citizens can obtain public services both online via egov.kz portal, mgov mobile app and Telegram Bot and offline by applying to one of the 329 front offices of “Government for Citizens” Public Corporation. In 6 months of 2019, citizens obtained 23.5 million services via e-Gov portal and 15 million services via Public Corporation front offices.  

Automation and optimization of public services is one of the key areas of “Digital Kazakhstan” National Program. Within the area, it is planned to integrate all government agencies` processes and systems and to exclude paper documents and abstracts to improve the quality of public service delivery.  The Plan for Ministries` and Agencies` Systems Integration was drawn up thanks to which automated data exchange between various departmental systems will be arranged.  It is planned that in 2019, 196 integrations will be performed and in 2020 it will be 39 integrations. As a result, by the end of 2019, the number of automated services will be increased up to 80%. 

“Smart Bridge” project is aimed at boosting the process of mutual integration.  Its objective is to create a single platform for all government agencies` information systems and databases, and also to facilitate all integration procedures.

All government agencies that deliver services are involved in automation and optimization of public services. The coordinator of the process is the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry.
