Implements state policy in the field of development of the agro-industrial complex and rural territories;

2) develop proposals for state support of agro-industrial complex entities in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

3) carries out state technical inspection in the field of agro-industrial complex;

4) implement measures to provide the agro-industrial complex with specialists, organize training, retraining and advanced training of personnel of the agro-industrial complex;

5) promotes the organization of regional exhibitions, fairs on the range of products;

6) promotes the organization of wholesale markets for trade in agricultural products;

7) monitors the state of food security, prices and markets of agricultural products;

8) contributes to the organization of the work of commissions to determine participants in food procurement programs;

9) contributes to the development and implementation of measures for the dissemination and introduction of innovative experience in the field of agro-industrial complex;

10) promote the construction, maintenance and reconstruction of the state points of artificial insemination of farm animals, harvesting of animal products and raw materials, slaughter areas (areas on slaughter of agricultural animals), special storage (burial) of pesticides, chemicals and containers under them;

11) promotes the acquisition, maintenance of high quality breeding animals and rearing for the expanded reproduction;

12) helps reduce the cost of seeds of the first, second and third reproductions sold to domestic agricultural producers;
