"Cyber Shield of Kazakhstan"

The concept of cybersecurity ("Cyber Shield of Kazakhstan") (hereinafter - the Concept) was developed in accordance with the Message from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan "The third modernization of Kazakhstan: Global competitiveness" taking into account the approaches of the Strategy "Kazakhstan-2050" for Kazakhstan to become one of the 30 most developed countries in the world.

Details

The implementation of this Concept will serve to further modernize Kazakhstani society and will become Kazakhstan's contribution to the implementation of the UN Global Cybersecurity Program.

Objectives of the Concept:

1. Formation of the necessary conditions for raising awareness about threats, developing human capital and the potential of the domestic ICT industry to create software products and cybersecurity systems aimed at blocking and suppressing malicious software and hardware impact and protected telecommunications equipment;

2. Improvement of law enforcement practice, methodological base, normative and legal, organizational and technical support for the safe use of ICT in the national system of information protection and security of automated control systems for technological processes;

3. Creation of a highly adaptive and integrated system of state management of information security in the field of informatization and communications in relation to the entire national information and communication infrastructure.
