The XIX Men's World Championship and the X Women's World Championship in Fire and Rescue sports are held from September 5 to 11. 10 men's and 7 women's teams from 21 countries participate in the competition. I got ready, and it turned out to win bronze. The last time an athlete from Kazakhstan became a medalist in this discipline was in 2012 – he took the bronze medal. I think I could have performed better, I will continue to work," says Bauyrzhan Tekenov.
The Karaganda resident also broke the record of Kazakhstan in overcoming the 100-meter obstacle course and climbing the assault ladder. As a result, he is the absolute record holder of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the two-man event.

Two major international Kyokushin karate tournaments were held in Astana at once – the Asian Championship among men and women and the Junior World Championship. Karaganda karate players were among the strongest. The national team of Karaganda region won a record number of medals: 11 gold, 11 silver and 15 bronze.

At the 23rd individual World Chess Championship among athletes with damage to the musculoskeletal system and visual organs, Karaganda resident Alimzhan Ayapov won in two categories at once - adult and youth (20 years and younger).
The championship was held in Armenia, in the historical place of the city of Gyumri – the Black Fortress built in the middle of the XIX century. It was attended by 52 athletes representing 13 chess federations from different countries.

Further in Karaganda, Erlan Koshanov visited the Center for Public and Service Services, where in October last year the country's first women's police station opened, which functionally became a Single family Assistance center. The representative of the Council of veterans of Balkhash, Taitoleu Zhumanov, expressed gratitude for the work that is going to the city and noted that the appearance of the city is important for the development of tourism. There are 598 storey buildings in Balkhash, of which 410 facades and roofs need to be repaired. Work should begin next year.
– In recent years, large-scale work has been carried out in the city. We can see that. Now I am interested in the issues of facades of houses and bridges. There were two bridges on the site of the access road. Only one is active today. But one thing is clearly missing: it is poorly loaded. Are there plans to rebuild the bridge? Taitoleu Zhumanov asked.

– I know about the bridge. We are planning a reconstruction in the future. I will give the mayor of the city the task to prepare the documents," Yermaganbet Bulekpayev said. – Next year we will start repairing inner-city roads and house facades.
A resident of Balkhash asked when the issuance of land plots for individual housing construction would begin.
– Engineering communications have been extended to 300 land plots in the Samal microdistrict. This year we will start developing design estimates for another 400 sites. The project is moving to 2025. And after summing up the engineering and communication infrastructure, it will be possible to issue land," said Sapar Satayev, the head of Balkhash.
Balkhash residents also asked when the road to Karamendi bi would be repaired. It will not be possible to put the street in order this year: more communications need to be laid. The road will begin to be made next year.
Ermaganbet Bulekpayev listened to the residents' questions, and took control of those that could not be answered immediately. He also called on the citizens to understand the temporary inconveniences due to the large-scale reconstruction of utility networks.
– The Balkhash region is developing rapidly. There is a large-scale reconstruction of water and heating networks, repair of roads. The improvement of the embankment of the city beach area has begun. The big question is sewage treatment plants. Design and estimate documentation is currently being developed. The STP will be built. Everything is being done gradually, it takes time," says the head of the region.
After the meeting with the population, Ermaganbet Bulekpayev held a reception for residents on personal issues.
Reconstruction of heating networks continues in Balkhash. In addition to the main pipes, the intra-block ones are being changed. The works covered 25 kilometers, including problem areas where accidents occurred last winter. This will improve the quality of the city's heat supply.

The task is to provide residents with stable and high–quality heat supply. The issue of water supply is also being resolved. Funds have been allocated for this. It is necessary to ensure that contractors complete the planned volumes on time and efficiently," said Ermaganbet Bulekpayev.
The governor of the region was also informed about the implementation of key projects for the development of the city.
The head of the region visited Balkhash airport, where a comprehensive reconstruction is underway. Currently, the contractor is busy updating the taxiway and apron. This part of the work is planned to be completed this year. The project also includes the reconstruction of the airport building and the construction of a new special transport service building.
Ermaganbet Bulekpayev also inspected the landscaping of the city embankment.
New alleys, children's playgrounds and sports grounds, a bicycle path, sidewalks and much more will appear on the coastal territory.
The construction of a comfortable school did not remain without the attention of the head of the region. The new 900-seat educational institution will allow unloading the Seifullin Gymnasium. Currently, the building is fully erected, the interior is being finished. The school will meet all modern requirements.
The governor of the region also stopped by the A. Ermekov Lyceum school, where repairs were made at the expense of the budget and the Kazakhmys corporation. The educational institution has updated electrical communications, insulated the walls of the room. In addition, new furniture was purchased for the classrooms.
Ermaganbet Bulekpayev also got acquainted with social projects in the field of healthcare. A rehabilitation center for children and adults will be opened in Balkhash. There is also a reconstruction of one of the empty buildings for the house of physicians. 30 apartments will be equipped for medical specialists. This will help solve the problem of the shortage of doctors.
The Governor of the region was also presented with a project in the field of industry. A copper smelter flue ash processing plant will be built in Balkhash.
Akim of the Karaganda region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev held a regular reception of citizens on personal issues at the Center for Dialogue with residents. Karaganda residents expressed ideas on landscaping, suggested ways to solve problems in housing and communal services and complained about an unscrupulous developer.
The head of the region was approached by a group of Karaganda residents who invested in the construction of the residential complex "Batyr" on Mukanova Street. But by court order it was demolished. The developer promised to give the shareholders apartments in the residential complex "Altyn" on Satybaldina Street. However, the construction of this house is delayed.
– There are about 40 of us, we invested money two years ago, many of us got loans. The developer only feeds us with promises. The construction of the residential complex "Altyn" was supposed to begin last year. But it turned out that communications are taking place at the site of the future house. The Mayor's Office of the city met the developer halfway, changed the detailed layout plan, the territory of the residential complex was shifted. But even after that, the work has not really started yet. We want the governor of the region to take control of the situation. The head of the region instructed to organize a meeting with the participation of the developer. We really hope that our situation will clear up and we will either get our money back or get housing," says Zarina Sadykova, a member of the initiative group of shareholders.

The competitions are held every four years and cover the entire Asian continent. This year's games were held in Yakutsk (Russia). Athletes under the age of 16 from 30 countries participated in them. 39 sets of medals were awarded in 24 sports.
200 young athletes defended the honor of Kazakhstan. Karaganda residents won 15 medals. The winner of the tournament was the young boxer Timur Taybekov. The last time in 2012, Ablaikhan Zhusupov received a gold medal in this championship at the age of 15.
– I've been boxing for five years. My father brought me to this sport," Timur says. – The opponents at the games were very serious. In the first fight, I met with Yakut, and also fought with boxers from Belarus and Uzbekistan. They are all champions of their countries. The preparation took a long time, but it was not in vain. Residents of Shakhtinsk and nearby villages at a regular meeting with Akim of Karaganda region Ermaganbet Bulekpayev raised issues of healthcare, housing and communal services and landscaping. The city's central hospital is currently undergoing major repairs. The activist of the city, Valentina Akhonova, proposed to open a rehabilitation center in Shakhtinsk.
– We used to have a good sanatorium. Now Shakhtinsk simply needs a rehabilitation center. There is also an empty room. We have a lot of disabled people, miners, and children who need rehabilitation," she said.
The governor of the region supported the idea and instructed the health department to carefully work out this issue.
The most active at the meeting were residents of the Shahan village. They were interested in roads and landscaping of the village. Also, residents of the village of Shahan wanted to know when they would start building a sewage treatment plant. Residents of Shakhtinsk asked to build a sports ground in front of a forest plantation. Many people love this corner of nature and often walk there. Installing simulators would be a good motivator for residents to devote more time to their health.
More recently, multifunctional sports courts have been opened in the Shakhan and Novodolinka villages. Three football fields in Shakhtinsk have been repaired. Work in this direction will continue.
