From 20 to 22 October in Akmola branch of Kazakhstan Institute of standardization and certification held a seminar on regulation organized with the aim of improving the level of professional skills and qualification of staff at various levels of enterprises and organizations in accordance with the requirements of international standards.
Training at this workshop will help you to use all the necessary tools to improve service delivery correctly and effectively in the future.
The event, held for the fifth year in a row, was attended by 66 representatives from government agencies, testing laboratories, bodies for confirming the conformity of products, tourism and highways in Kokshetau and Akmola region. This is the first time that the event is being held in a new remote format.
The seminar discussed the system of standardization in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the system of standardization in the Eurasian economic Union, as well as innovations in legislation in the field of Metrology and technical regulation. The participants got acquainted with new approaches in the field of certification, management systems and application of the technical regulations of the CU/EAEU, the main provisions of the legal framework of the Eurasian economic Union in terms of product conformity assessment, the requirements of the technical regulations of the Eurasian economic Union, in terms of state control (supervision) over compliance with the requirements of technical regulations in the areas of tourism services and highways.
Leading experts, experts-auditors in the field of tourism and highways addressed the audience. During the seminar, participants exchanged views and actively asked questions, the answers to which will significantly help in the implementation of practical activities in the field of technical regulation.

Within the framework of the state program of industrial and innovative development and the requirements of international standards, the National standardization body theRSE “Kazakhstan institute of standardization and certification” of the Committee for technical regulation and metrology of the Ministry of trade and integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan plans to hold seminars on “Training and professional development of employees in the field of technical regulation, metrology and management systems” (no less than 1300 specialists annually).
Seminars (3-day) will be held free of charge.
Seminars provide coverage of current issues in the field of technical regulation, metrology and management systems:
I. Legislation in the field of standardization.
General regulatory framework in the field of standardization.
Questions of practical application of legislation on standardization and technical regulation in public procurement.
Improving the quality of domestic products through the application of legislation on standardization and technical regulation.
Explanation of the application of legislation on standardization and technical regulation in the following areas: Halal products, services, information technologies, construction materials, autoroads, chemical industry.
II.Metrology.
Practical application of normative legal acts on ensuring the unity of measurement.
Questions of practical application of international legal acts and documents.
III.Conformity assessment.
IV. State control and supervision in the field of technical regulation, ensuring the uniformity of measurements, accreditation in the field of conformity assessment.
Legislative framework for market control and supervision in the EEU countries.
On state control and supervision of compliance with technical regulations of the CU/EEU within the EEU.
V. Technical regulation in priority export countries
In the seminar will participate:
- foreign lecturers, having experience in the field of technical regulation and management systems;
- acting experts-auditors of the State system of technical regulation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the following areas;
- specialists, having experience in the field of technical regulation and metrology, as well as technical experts of technical committees for standardization;
- specialists in the field of management systems.
To the seminar are invited:
Representatives of state bodies, national companies, specialists of enterprises, conformity assessment bodies, testing laboratories (centers), verification and calibration laboratories, technical committees for standardization, associations, the National chamber of entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken”, higher educational institutions, as well as all interested persons, except for employees whose functions do not include issues of technical regulation, metrology and standardization.
A coffee break will be organized as part of the event.
At the end of the seminar, participants will be issued certificates.
