Invataxi is a transport for people with special physical needs. The project allows children and adults with disabilities to be full-fledged members of the society, as well as visit social infrastructure facilities for socialization that improves their living, opens up opportunities for receiving additional services and strengthening their health and education.

Who can use the "Invataxi" service?

Today, the invataxi has operated in the cities and regional centers. The following can use for free of charge:

  • first group disability persons;
  • those who have difficulty in moving;
  • those eligible for a personal assistant and/or a wheelchair.

Those who work and study have priority in receiving the service.

Invataxi is financed by local budgets, the service is provided from city halls (akimats) through a state social order in accordance with public procurement law.

Required documents for receiving "Invataxi" service

To receive the service, persons with disabilities must submit the following documents to an organization that provides invataxi service:

  • an application (written in any form);
  • a copy of an identity document;
  • a required conclusion of medical advisory board in the form 035-1/y;
  • a copy of disability certificate in the form in accordance with Appendix 12 to the Rules for conducting a medical and social examination approved by Order No. 44.

Documents specified in paragraphs 2 and 4 are submitted in the original and copies for verification, after which the original documents are returned to the persons with disabilities.

The Invataxi services are provided as a matter of priority to the working and studying people with disabilities according to the work or study schedule.

To the others with disabilities, the Invataxi services are provided on a first come first serve basis.

"Invataxi" service provision facilities

An enquiry for the Invataxi service is done over the phone to an organization that provides the Invataxi service within one day before the date of the trip.

According to the Invataxi service provision list of facilities and destinations the persons with disabilities can travel along these routes:

  • the place of work of persons with disabilities;
  • educational institutions of persons with disabilities;
  • local representative and executive bodies;
  • court, prosecutor's office;
  • social sphere facilities;
  • legal consulting;
  • notary;
  • health facilities (except for the emergency (acute) medical care);
  • airports, railway stations, bus stations, sea and river ports;
  • organizations that provide special social services.

The enquiries are received in advance within a day calling the dispatch service phone No. from nine in the morning to six in the evening. In addition, the Invataxi carries the passengers around the clock including weekends and holidays.

"Invataxi" social project support (Astana)

NGO "National Paralympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (NPC) provides Invataxi services to the children and adults with disabilities in Astana.

The Invataxi can be ordered by children and adults with disabilities living in Astana and moving in the wheelchairs. The children must be accompanied by a parent (guardian) or person authorized to accompany the child. The Invataxi can be ordered for travel to educational institutions; local representative and executive bodies; court, prosecutor's office; social sphere facilities; legal consulting; notary; health facilities (except for the emergency (acute) medical care).

To receive the service, the following documents shall be submitted to the NPC office at the address: Astana, 2 Akshoky Lane:

  • application;
  • identity document (a copy and original for verification);
  • a conclusion of medical advisory board in the form 035-1/y;
  • disability certificate in the form in accordance with Appendix 12 to the Rules for conducting a medical and social examination (a copy and original for verification);
  • an individual rehabilitation program certificate (IRP).

The documents are received on weekdays from 14.00-18.00.

The enquiries for service provision are received on weekdays from 9.00 to 13.00.

The following information data shall be indicated in the enquiry: full name, date and time of travel, exact destination address, phone number to contact the customer, other additional information (number of passengers, load capacity and condition of luggage, arrival/departure time of the train, bus, plane, etc. .).
