The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was established by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan on May 31, 2005 for the purpose of training, retraining and advanced training of civil servants.
The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is the only higher educational institution in the country that provides training, retraining and advanced training for civil servants.
If YOU are NOT a CIVIL SERVANT, but you want to get an education in the field of public administration, then you have a chance to study at the Academy on a paid basis, having 2 years of general experience for a master's degree, at least 5 years of general experience for doctoral studies.
Persons who have mastered professional training programs of higher education are accepted to the Master's program.
Persons who have mastered the professional training programs of the master's degree are accepted to the doctoral program.

Admission of citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who are civil servants, for training in postgraduate education programs is carried out on a competitive basis within the framework of the state educational order.
Those wishing to enroll in the Academy must meet the following specific requirements:
Applicants for the Master's degree program "Public Administration" with a period of study of one year on the job:
- according to the state educational order, persons who are political employees, civil servants of the "A" corps and state employees at the time of submission of documents are allowed employees of the building "B" (group of categories "A" - A-1, A-2, A-3), (group of categories "B" - B-1, B-2, B-3), (group of categories "C" - C-1, C-2, C-3), employees of interregional and regional divisions of central state bodies and their departments, divisions of central state bodies in cities of republican significance, the capital (C-O-1, C-O-2, C-O-3), (group of categories "D" - D-1, D-2, D-3), regional executive bodies, executive bodies of cities of republican significance, capitals financed from the local budget (D-O-1, D-O-2), (group of categories "E" - E-1, E-2) and having at least two years of managerial experience;
For the Master's degree program "International Relations" with a period of study of 2 year on the job:
- according to the state educational order, persons who, at the time of submitting documents, are civil servants with at least two years of public service experience in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, or central state bodies and their territorial subdivisions, local state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan dealing with issues of international cooperation are allowed;
For the Master's degree programs "Human Resource Management" and "Regional Development" with a training period of one year on-the-job:
- according to the state educational order, persons who are civil servants with at least two years of public service experience at the time of submission of documents are allowed;
For the Master's degree programs "Public Policy" and "Economics" with a two-year study period on the job:
- according to the state educational order, persons who are civil servants with at least two years of public service experience at the time of submission of documents are allowed;
For the educational programs of the Doctoral program "Public Administration", "International Relations" and "Economics" with a period of study of three years on the job:
- according to the state educational order, persons who have at least 5 years of public service experience at the time of submitting documents are allowed;
